At the Dental Center of Lufkin, ownership means building something with intention, care, and long-term commitment.
Dr. Daniel Antee and Dr. Megan Tanner stepped into an established practice after graduating from LSU and choosing to make Deep East Texas home. They took on the responsibility of continuing a trusted office while shaping it into a space that reflects how they care for people today.

The original office carried years of history—saloon doors, carpeted walls, and a layout from another time. They preserved that story while redesigning the space to function with clarity and purpose. Every square foot was considered. New treatment rooms were added. Updated technology was introduced. The result is a clean, welcoming environment designed to support both patients and team members.

Their focus stays consistent: thoughtful, detailed care and ongoing growth. They invest in continuing education for themselves and their team, making sure what they offer continues to evolve. That commitment shows up in the experience patients have each day.

People are greeted by a team that is kind, attentive, and genuinely present. Over time, patients become familiar faces, and the office becomes part of their routine and care.
Outside of the practice, they’ve built their life here—purchasing land, building their home, and choosing to stay rooted in the same community they serve.
This is what a Mom & Pop business looks like:
A shared vision.
A shared responsibility.
And a steady investment in people and place.

Happy Mom & Pop Business Owner Day, Dr. Antee & Dr. Tanner!
